In 2021, after making the switch to 8.90, Rowan tried his hand at PDRA, or Professional Drag Racing Association. This stellar performance was able to qualify him for the first ever Summit Pro Stars invitation race where went trip zip in first round and on to win the $2,000 payday and Pro Stars Championship. Consistent performances at the final races of the season saw Rowan enter the World Finals with a mere 1 round lead. Congratulations 🥳

Weekend race recap. Rowan was a beast and made it 4 rounds down to 12 when he got a little too aggressive after former world champ Chris Suppers and turned it red. The pass in the video he was .001 dropping 10 mph to take .007 stripe. Just nasty. Needless to say both driver and car are ready for the PDRA Racing season to start.

Matt’s dragster wasn’t quite as cooperative. Saturday a part problem prevented him from getting down the track. So Saturday night we drive home, replaced the part and went to MIR for a test hit. That problem solved another revealed, but we are making progress and getting more confident clean passes are coming soon.

There are few things that we can do in the sport of drag racing to practice, but the practice tree is the most important. And being able to hit the tree inside of your vehicle allows you to be as consistent as possible and truly maximizes your practice time.

We hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas this year!! 🎄 🎅
Now that the off season is upon us, Rowan goes by Ron Hubbles to talk about winterizing your junior dragster. See all that goes into making sure we are ready to rock and roll for next season, including popping in a new NGK Spark Plugs.
LOOK OUT FOR THE WIRE MONSTER!!! Be sure to check out the latest episode of Sudden Rush Shop where Rowan and Matt rip out the Analog Gauges in the new Top Dragster. And be sure to like and subscribe so you get notified of new episodes.
The 2024 PDRA Racing schedule is out and the PDRA is finally going to Bristol Dragway!! And right after Rowan’s birthday!!
Be sure to tune in tomorrow, Thursday at 3:30 to find out whether we went with a blower or nitrous to get into PDRA Racing Top Dragster!
We want to wish a very special Happy Birthday to our favorite, Courtney Enders!! Check out our matching shoes from PRI last year.
Happy Veterans Day and a heartfelt Thank You for your service.
We woke up this morning for Q2 and the wind was hitting hard. Most everybody slowed down and we ended up qualifying with our hit yesterday for the #20 position. First round will now be tomorrow morning.
We are only a couple days away from the final race of the PDRA Racing season and Matt and Rowan are ready to race! Rowans car was dialed in pretty well at the last race and a small change should have the Robot at a consistent .00 to teen light. Matt managed to get some test and tune time in and got his new shock dialed in and is ready for Bracket Bash. Check out our schedule and be sure to watch all the action on FloSports if you can't make it out to Virginia Motorsports Park.
Today the robot had 2 qualifying passes. Our first was a 7.896 and our second was a 7.880 to put us on the bump spot. This was only our 6th pass on our new custom Ron Hubble 7.90 engine and we were more focused on getting our car to react off the line better for the pro tree.
We should be set on kill for tomorrow and will look to improve our qualifying position. We also got a chance to get a Bad News Bears team photo with the Victus bats car.
If you’re not able to be here be sure to watch on FloDragRacing.

How cool is it to be flipping through the latest issue of Drag Illustrated and find a shot of Rowan's Racing playing rock, paper, scissors for lane choice with Hogan Motorsports. And to be in a shot right next to the legend Larry Dixon Jr. makes it even cooler!

This is just another reason why PDRA Racing is the best place in the world to race juniors.
We are about to go into first round. Still not sure where Rowan is qualified but pretty sure he is in and you can watch all the action on FloDragRacing.
For the first time both Rowan and Matt, father and son will be competing in a PDRA Racing event. Rowan has made the bump up to Coolshirt Pro jr dragster and Matt will be competing in bracket bash. Special thanks to Computech and everyone that helps to support us.
